My name is Jamilu Tukur Observer and I am probably not what you expected.

I am a primary school teacher from Katsina State, Nigeria. I run a small shop. I raise poultry on an organic farm. I trade crypto. I write books. I create content. I have a YouTube channel. And somewhere in between all of that I make Afrobeat music.

Yes. All of that is one person.

I know what you are thinking. That sounds scattered.

And for a long time it was.

I started blogging in 2019 and since then I have worn more hats than most people own. Every new path felt like the right one. Every new interest felt urgent. Every new beginning felt like the one that would finally change everything.

Sound familiar?

That is exactly why I am here.

I created this space for everyday Nigerians who are curious about everything, passionate about life, but struggling to find focus and direction in a noisy world.

Here you will find honest conversations about money and crypto, organic farming, politics, personal discipline, film, books, and the messy beautiful journey of trying to build something real from scratch.

I am not an expert sitting on a mountain top telling you how to live.

I am someone in the middle of the climb sharing everything I learn along the way.

I wrote my first book — "Scattered But Not Broken" — not because I had mastered discipline but because I was tired of starting things and never finishing them. Writing that book was my proof to myself that I could finish something.

This blog is my next proof.

If you have ever felt like your potential is bigger than your output — you are in the right place.

we are going to grow together.

1% better every day.

By Jamilu Observer | Political Commentary & Analysis  March 2, 2026  "They left all the Gulf states that host American military bases at the mercy of Iranian strikes.  — Senior Saudi Official If there is one statement capable of rewriting the security calculus of an entire region in a single breath, it might be the one a senior Saudi official just delivered to the world. The allegation is stark: the United States, facing an active Iranian threat, quietly repositioned its air defense assets away from the Gulf states — countries that host American military bases, purchase American weapons, and have structured their entire foreign policy around American protection — and redirected those defenses to shield Israel. No consultation. No compensation. No alternative guarantee. Just a repositioned umbrella. And a region left in the rain. The Bargain That Was Never Ironclad For decades, the Gulf Cooperation Council states operated on the basis of a clear...

If you raise local chickens in Nigeria there is one disease you must understand before anything else. Not because it is the most common. But because it is the most devastating. Newcastle Disease has destroyed entire poultry farms overnight. Farmers who worked for months building their flock have woken up to find every single bird dead or dying within days. This is not an exaggeration. This is the reality of Newcastle Disease in Nigeria. And the most painful part is that most of the farmers who lost everything did not know what hit them until it was too late. This article is my attempt to make sure that never happens to you. By the time you finish reading this you will know exactly what Newcastle Disease is, how to recognize it early, what to do if it hits your flock, and most importantly how to prevent it from ever arriving in the first place. Let us start fr...
